My Name is Richard. I am 27 years old and live in Derbyshire with my wife, Claire. We met in 1999 and have been inseperable ever since. We have a boisturous German Shepherd cross Border Collie, two cats and several rats - animals always seem to outnumber humans in our house! |  |
I'm currently working for a small engineering firm in Derby. I have been in the engineering industry for almost nine years now, and being a metal machinist gives me a good basis to move onto woodturning and wood lathes.
I
first became interested in woodturning about three years ago, having
watched my Father in Law on his lathe creating various projects. Maybe
one day I will have the skills and standards that he has gained through
years of experience - I will let you view photos of my work and you can
judge for yourself!
When I'm not in the shed working on the latest project, I can usually be found somewhere with a set of darts in my hand. Being a keen darts player, I do enjoy a game (or twenty) with family and friends. Playing darts is also something I would love to pursue further, later down the line perhaps.
